Where it gets painful today

What goes wrong without it.

Bank data is copied by hand from the portal.
Duplicate lines creep in when statements overlap.
Accounts, balances and opening figures drift out of step.
Nobody knows whether a deposit was a customer payment.
How ANWA fixes it

ANWA Banking, done properly.

Connect or import

Connect through a bank provider where available, or import a statement as CSV, OFX or QFX with column mapping.

No duplicates

Every imported line gets a fingerprint, so overlapping statements do not double up.

Accounts that tie to the ledger

Each bank account carries its opening balance and posts to the right ledger account.

Ready to reconcile

Every line lands in one queue, ready to match against what you recorded.

Questions

Good to know.

Which banks are supported?

ANWA lists Canadian and common US institutions. Live connections depend on the provider and your credentials, and statement import works for any bank.

Which statement formats can I import?

CSV, OFX and QFX. PDF statements are kept as a record, but amounts are not posted from them automatically.

What if I import the same period twice?

Duplicate lines are detected and skipped.
